The Association was formed to promote the common business interest of those engaged in the mortgage profession; to encourage the highest standards of professional practice in the industry; to promote public awareness of the industry and enhance the image of the mortgage brokering and mortgage lending industry; to enhance the knowledge and competency of its members; to protect the mortgage brokering and mortgage lending professions through legislative actions.
